Great Britain 2d blue, plate 15, and 2½d rosy mauve, plate 14, both
neartly tied by “942” numeral cancellation, paying the normal rate
plus the 2d late fee posting with boxed PAID/LATE FEE and
LARNACA/OC.15.79 datestamp alongside, with Alexandria arrival
cancellation on reverse. A stunning exhibition showpiece.
